Alright, there was one NIB on ebay for like $72 shipped buy it now ebay a couple of days ago. I should have snatched it up while I had the chance. Oh well. I am hoping to spend like $60 at most.

When does the 4770 come out? Hopefully that will cause 4830 prices to drop.

Hey fit, is it possible to have an i7 920 + good mobo + 6gb of RAM for 500$? Not really buying anything, just wondering if it's possible... I'm thinking 250 for i7 230 for mobo and 80 for RAM (560$ total)

Very possible (as long as you're not looking to get brand new on all HW). I just did it and mine came out to $533, here is my price breakdown:

BNIB retail Core i7 - $279
Open Box Biostar TPower X58 - $157
G-Skill PI 3X2GB DDR3-1600 (from PaulieG) $97
Total $533
