So I was bummed that my gt 640 wouldnt work as a physx card with batman arkham night. So I figured I would mess with it a little and see what I needed to make it work. Since its a gk107 gpu, there is no bios modding tool for it. So I started looking at different bios's with different clocks. I figured why not I dont use it much anymore. Lets see how high i could max the core clocks too. So in the process I accidentally flashed a 2gb bios on it. Funny thing is it works and whats even stranger, it now works as a dedicated physx card in Arkham Night.
So do I need to worry? I actually extremely happy right now cause as a dedicated physx card on batman, it does wonders for my fps. Im still using my old 660ti for my primary.
gpu-z shows my card as a 2gb card now. Im a little confused, so does it really have 2gb?
