Would it be possible to flash my BFG Tech 8800 Ultra OC BIOS to the same BIOS that my EVGA 8800 Ultra Special Edition has? The BIOS version on my BFG is 60.80.18.00.21 and the one on my EVGA is 60.80.18.00.86. If I flash my BFG BIOS with my EVGA BIOS, will that make my BFG Tech 8800 Ultra run at the same specs as my EVGA 8800 Ultra? If so, can someone please show me how to flash my video card BIOS?

are you just trying to get same performance out of the BFG ?

you can just edit the bios to change clock rate and shaders and memory and fan speed using NiBiTor. By dumping the original bios from the BFG card to a folder then edit that to the same settings as the EVGA. Then save it to another file and flash the card with NVflash. or try to dump the EVGA bios and try to flash it to the BFG card. Either way it's risky if you never flashed a card before. Any failed flash could kill the card making it an expensive paperweight.

I just got a hold of a EVGA 8800 Ultra Black Pearl stock BIOS and want to flash it to both of my cards. Can you please post up a walkthrough on how to use NVFlash, I'm willing to take the risk! ;)
