Flashing XFX 5700 Ultra DD to XT version

Hello everyone,

I'd like to flash my card, but I couldn't really find any given (dis-) advantages for doing so, besides higher power consumption. Are there any more I should know about?
I read through the thread from 2 days ago (link), but my current amd settings aswell as the box version mismatch. Hence I wanted to ask for help.

My card has these specs:

Does this BIOS (XT) still suffice? Do I need to upgrade my BIOS first and foremost?

The other specs I run are:
- Ryzen 2600
- B450 Tomahawk
- 16Gb 2933mhz (cl16 I think?)

I do have my old xfx rx 470 laying around aswell.

After reading through the Techspot article related to flashing the XFX RX5700 DD Ultra to a RX5700 XT, I attempted to do the same thing with my DD Ultra, but keep on running into a SubsystemID mismatch error when using the AMD Flash Utility. I've tried every version of the XFX 5700 XT Bios...

Okey, will do that and reply back. Was just wondering due to my box version saying vers. 1.1 instead of 1.0.
Guess since the BIOS is the same, it should work. We'll see.

150 points more than with the vanilla card. Get's really loud though:

Thats expected, you went from a dd bios to a thic2/ultra bios.

It is unknown if a thic3 bios will work though...

If I were to flash back, would I just run the cmd commands with the OG bios instead of the new one?
