Flashing wont unlock any shaders, it'll just increases clock and voltage... maybe. Easier to just OC the card.

Here is another thread with some more info if you are dead set on flashing.

EDIT: Here is a nice 6850 OC overview.

It a mute point anyways just found out my card uses a M25P10 chip and unless I want to remove the cooler and solder a jumper across a couple pins that my bios is unchangeable.

Hey I found this and I believe I have to jump 2 of the pins(3WP# & 4?) because if I read this correctly, pin3 is high(1) and needs to be low(0) to disable write-protect(not sure). But if anyone in the know could look this over and maybe explane what I need to do to mod the bios on my 6850?
The bios chip on my board is on the non-heatsink side(backside) of the board and sits right beside of the first gold trace of the PCIe connection. Number on the chip is PM25LV010. And in DOS ATIFlash under the catogory labeled "Flash" is the IC # M25P10/C or M25P101C(messy notes need to run it again and write it down clearer...lol). But can not find any chips with any thing close to those #'s except PM25LV010. So kinda sure that the type and close to the number that this is the IC I need to focus on.
Here is a link the the data sheet pdf

anyhelp thanks
