I bought a Rx 580 2048SP without knowing that it is difference from the normal RX580.

I think this is the card i have. It physically look the same in the picture

I am using this card on my hackintosh and it show up as 7MB in the system info.

I just did some research online and found out that, 2048SP is re-marketed 570 for China only. To get it work on hackintosh I will need to flash the vbios.

How do i select the vbios to flash ????
How do I know if it is comparable to this card??
Do I flash it to Rx 570 or flash it to Rx580 ?

I'm not sure it's going to help since every GPU has a unique device ID that cannot be changed even with a BIOS crossflash. Yours is unique for RX 580 2048SP.

You can try if you want, but first backup the original.

Use flash instructions from this thread.

If it doesn't work, restore the original, try to trade it for a card that work, or even better, contact the driver script developers and ask them to add support.

Hello foreverlate88, I sent a dm to you asking if you happen to have a backup of the bios for your card, I have the same one, and want to reflash it because I think mine was used for mining.
