Forums not being marked as read in USER CP after reading them...

In the past, in USER CP (my landing page here), I when I would click on a thread that had a new post in it, when I would go back(a full refresh, note not back on the browser) to USER CP the thread would not be bold and therefore is marked 'read'. Now, even if I go to the thread and read the next post or two, when I go to USER CP, it is still bold like it wasn't read.

Also, when I make a post and go back to USER CP (same full refresh), it shows my post as the last one, however it is bold again like I didn't read it. Normally, when you post in a thread and go back to USER CP, the thread shows up as read.

Not a big deal, a bit annoying, LOL, but something that doesn't seem right/departure from the past.

BUMP... is this me or what as this is pretty darn annoying (and the only site it happens on). Would love to hear from some staff or someone that is or is not having the problem so I know to look in the mirror further or wait until this is resolved. Thanks!

That was almost two years ago and I remembered that answer too, but things change over time so one asks again, no?

XF has a nice editor on it. Less issues the IPB has. IPS breaks the editor almost every "upgrade".

I used to work for em and 90% of the support tickets for the 1.7months I worked there involved the editor and something was borked all the time.

No shit, tell me about it. Pathetic, unreasonable problems like this render it toy software.

I really hope we get a decent editor with XF.
