This is regularly on sale for $19.99.

I bought two 5 packs for $29.99 each last month so I could install it on all of my PCs. It's goods software. And once you add the keys to your Acronis account there is no need to keep the keys. Just log into your acronis account in the software and it activates.

The version that comes with SSDs isn't the full version. You can't schedule automatic backups. It's basically locked down so all you can do with it is clone your old drive to the new and do manual backups.

Paragon's true use for me at least is imaging/cloning partitions and stuff like getting medieval on drives.

Just a PSA

WD have free versions of Acronis for folks to use so long as they have a WD SSD or HDD installed. Some features arent all there as I think the software is an older build but for the most part it still clones drives perfectly. I have cloned so many drives back and forth using this software over the years and I think I can count the amount of failed clones on one hand and one of them was trying to clone a hard drive that was quite old and f**ky so some of the partitions on it were just nuts.

I know some people dont like Acronis but its free and nobody said you had to keep it installed after you're done with all your cloning jobs. Beats paying $35 for software and all you need to do is put up with it for 15-40mins per job.

why should i pay money for software when there is better software for free? (or equal)

i use macrium reflect for cloning and backups since years and every single clone process, every single backup and restore worked perfectly fine.

plus it is freeware.
