Like the titles states...I'm looking for a video card.
I'm trying to put together a computer for a friend who is in dire need. I'm giving him the computer as a gift and I've finally got all the parts together and tested, but I'm short a video card. The only real requirement here is that I'd like one with only one six-pin if possible. Even an OEM type card is fine. Looking for something about the "size" of an eVGA GTX 550ti.
The computer this is going in is a Dell Precision T3500. I want him to be able to do some light gaming if he feels the desire to do so and the only cards I have in my stash are business oriented cards. Although...I did find one spare GTX 260....but I think I'd like something a little newer(and shorter!).
I've got his computer all ready to go...just needs a video card. So...if you have something that might work, shoot me a message with the price you need to have for the card shipped to 68154. Pictures are a plus.
Best Regards,

A little backstory to my request...
I parted my newly built steam box because about the same time I finished it...this need above came up and my sister(as many of you know) was told she has breast cancer. I was also getting more interested in folding because I found out that I could do so in linux. So...I headed off in a new direction. With a budget of about...Zero. I decided...as mentioned...to part my new steam box...and purchased a trio of Dell Precision T3500's. One for a gift to a long-time member of [H]ard OCP who is living under some VERY harsh conditions...and two to start folding with. I'll be using one of my classic LGA 775 socket motherboards with a Q9650/eVGA GTX 960 combo as my main desktop until I can look at replacing it in the next year or so.
Anyway....that's the story behind my request...and I like pictures...so, I'm adding a couple to go along with my short story. My test/work bench is completely stuffed full...and when it is....the kitchen table in my workshop get's double duty.
As soon as I get the other two machines up and running, I'll be looking to join up with whatever team is crunching/folding for TPU.
