Frametime stutters in games

Hello, I have been living with this problem for several years now, it all started back in 2017, when I bought my own PC, I started to notice freezes in games, after some time I simply forgot about this problem and bought myself a laptop, but it turned out so sadly that it broke down completely, I had to go back to my old PC (I had to change the video card).

So, what is my problem: at completely different moments I observe jumps in Frametime in my games (FPS from 60 drops to 58-59) and I notice signing at a millisecond, they do not happen at the same time, it even happened that it happened 2 times in a row, I read almost all possible forums with the same problem, but nothing helped me solve this problem, please help me

My system at the moment:
MSI 1060 3gb
z 270 m3
Corsair RM750x
i7 7700k
16gb ram

I just decided to download a single player game and pulled the Internet cable out of my computer, surprisingly everything is working stably

My girlfriend is sitting in the same room with me and using the same Internet, but she doesn't have any problems with these games, it's probably something else.
 
check your storage drivers, firmware and the devices themselves.
 
Update your nic (network) drivers... go to device manager and disable all power savings on the network card, disable interrupt moderation to avoid batching packets/delays.

if you're still getting spikes when the ethernet is on try disabling large send offload and side scaling

Additional generic performance settings for more smoothness:
2. uninstall nvidia app, and just install the driver
3. uninstall msi afterburner, or set it to apply at startup and then close.
4. overclock ram /cpu / ring
5. set power plan to high
6. update soundcard and mobo drivers
7. disable all virtualization in the bios. (gets rid of VBS in windows 10-20% FPS boost)



Retest
 
1. Updated the Internet drivers (disabled the interrupt moderation function and disable all power savings on the network card)
2. The application is not installed, the driver is the latest version
3. I have already deleted these applications.
4. The BIOS has a game mod for overclocking the processor and the xmp profile is enabled
5. It costs high productivity
6. Updated the graphics card drivers
7. I haven't disabled virtualization yet

frame time stuttering is still there :(
 
I found the utility on the official MSI website, I managed to update all kinds of drivers, the problem in fallout 76 still persists.

I just downloaded 2 games (single and which works over the Internet) and tested them without disconnecting the Internet cable from the computer.

There are no such big stutters found as in Siege X and Fallout 76, maybe I should download an online game where it will be possible to immediately play against real people.

the schedule is smooth, no stuttering is noticed.

Try virtualization disable, also did you mess at all with the NIC settings in the Device manager?

Yes, this feature has been disabled, I have now disabled virtualization and will try to check.

Unfortunately, the problem has not been solved...
We went to play with a friend in Siege X. stuttering remains, maybe I noticed or it's just a coincidence, but when I play with a friend in Discord, stuttering occurs much more often.
 
have you tried process lasso? -- set the game to high priority?

it will also throttle background tasks (discord) and can maybe help with the stutter - does really seem network related.

I tried setting a high priority through the standard task manager, but it didn't fix the problem.

and your partner's rig plays FO76 with no lag at all at the same time?

do you get lag spikes in the single player games that were smooth (from above) when the ethernet is plugged in and discord is running?

if so - then there might be either packet loss or some interrupt the NIC is throwing that's causing those spikes.

Yes, I just checked yesterday's games, which worked smoothly, but today I launched them with Discord enabled, stuttering appeared.
 
can you disable hardware acceleration in discord.

also update audio drivers - discord voice can conflict with older drivers - get the drivers directly from realtek - looks like MSI hasnt updated the m3 driver page since 2019

I updated the drivers, but the device manager still has the same version as before installing the driver.

unfortunately, discord doesn't work in my country and I have to use a program to bypass it. There's no way I can't turn on killer and my program at the same time:(
 
are you routing the game and discord through VPN or just discord?

only discord, please note that this is not exactly a VPN, but some kind of one.a bat file that gives access to sites that do not work in our country
