This is on GiveAwayoftheDay's site today only.

Its much like Frap's

http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/playclaw-2/

Haven't personally used it myself but assumed some of the gamer's in here might like it or want to give it a shot.
Its normally $39 USD so get it today if you want to give it a run.

Tried the original, which I think also launched on GAotD. It was said to be able to play at the normal non recording frame rate, while recording at a lower rate, like DxTory does, but it lagged horribly. So when you say "much like Fraps", when it tried to avoid the fixed frame rate lag problem of Fraps, I have to laugh.

My guess is it's still nowhere near as good as DxTory.

Been using NVidia Shadowplay for most of my recording. I don't do much gaming lately, but use it as a tool for desktop capture. Very clean, very easy, very fast, and very free

PlayClaw isn't bad. I've been using it for a few years now until I finally got my current 960, and now use shadowplay. It is basically a more configurable version of fraps and supports Intel quicksync, which was fun to mess with.

I would still stick with shadowplay or OBS, as both work very well, with little performance impact in games.
