FYI, The mod is split up into five parts as the project is bigger than ModDB's file size limit, make sure you download all 5 parts, then the July 18th patch.

Point is, does it utilise the new CPU archs well? Because the original one didn't at all.

Looks a lot better than the upcoming official remastered release.

Downloading several parts is a bitannoying, maybe @W1zzard can mirror it for us on TPU fileservers.

A lot of gamers still use quadcores and platforms without AVX (e.g. X58), so most games don't use the latest "arch".

92.5% of the steam hardware survey has AVX, 75% has AVX2. 8% of people using older-than-AVX is a lower total than people using 4GB or less of RAM. Optimizing for a newer arch might be outside the range of this project, but it's not like it's a bad idea.

Benchmark Scores I dont have time for that.
Yikes, hopefully its just atmospherics, but the fog introduced for some of the effect changes is rough. I think if they are part of the mod it looks worse.

EDIT:: Even the inside of buildings seems to have it. Doesnt make sense. This is a no from me. Maybe the official release will be better.

The official remaster looked a lackluster to me when I first saw it. Hopefully they can make it look amazing, but who knows.

Going to try this out, but it's all funky on the inside of building environments, seems odd.

I decided to test it today and discovered a part5 of the RAR set was missing. ModDB wasn't showing it directly(corrected above post). Anyway, got it downloaded and will begin testing shortly. I'm curious to see what the complaints are about.

EDIT1: Unzipped the thing is 16GB. All combined it's about 25GB.

Ive got all the parts needed for this, but what am I missing for why are there parts, if I need to put them in a file, and so far I have opened parts 1 and 2, and they have the same folders, and programs in them, and yes they say parts 1 and 2, but when I move 2 over to the crysis folder I made to put the parts in, it wants to replace the stuff in there from parts 1. Isnt that going to get rid of parts 1 in there for part 2 rar? Or am I missing something, or if I copy and replace whats in there from part one with part two, is the stuff from one going to somehow stay in there?? I dont want to copy and replace, but how do I move this stuff if 1 & 2 have the same files, and stuff in those files without replacing it with something else that may be needed from the first part?

DERP, extracted them all at one time to the folder took care of it :p

I'm encountering GFX glitches and artifacting. Followed the installation instructions. I've tried recopying all the files, redownloading, changing driver settings, changing in-game settings and nothing works. See screenshots.

Without the mod, the game runs as expected. Can't recommend the mod at this time, not in this state.
