okey so i have free times today, continue my yakuza 2 gameplay, eveything runs smoth like always but sudently crash just for an hour, the games freeze my pc too, well it ruined my mood, i turned off, this never happened before using ryzen igpu/rx480/570/580, but why it happend now, so anyone know whats the problem on this nvdia card?:shadedshu:
i run in stock setup no ocing, not even touch any configuration nvidiapanel btw
temp is normal 50-60c, gpu usage also normal ingame 99%, fan speed 60%+, assuming theres no overheat
for the psu im sure it can handle this card since the tdp is 160, i own vintage hungry mosnter 180watt gtx260 colorful igame, never get crash before

note: i acidently updating win10 week ago, this also could be the culprit i guess
will try resintall 1803 tommorow, if ive free time to do so tho..

happened once ?
if so this can happen once in a blue moon on any setup/game for a numbers of reasons, not worth investigating.
if this happened more than once it's probably an issue with the card (heat/clocks/drivers),the game or something in the system.

the way nvidia gpus work they may crash if the temp is too low actually.the card is boosting cause it sees a temperature window but the chip can't handle the clocks.happened to me with 1080Ti that kept boosting 25mhz too high if I set the fan speed too aggresively, had to dial the fan speed back to keep the card warmer at run at 2000/2012mhz and not 2025mhz for extended periods of time.

okey i just realize that my game is outofdate, i get the autopatch steam 1.4 from sega and everything run smooth now, but my savedata is gone smh lol, anyway ive a question about nvidia card, the temp is normal 50-65c, but i notice that the card actually pretty hot, even i can feel it by touching my near pc case, while amd usually run 75c and it seems not hot than nvidia, is this normal? i used msi afterburn for monitoring, it can be afterburn have false report on temp maybe?! :kookoo:

Apples to oranges. Its fine, all cards rely on ambient temperature and different thermal sensors
