Her kids all look to be over 15, don't see the issue, I'm sure they had fun.
You 'can' do a lot of things in GTA... if she's so moral, why didn't she pay the hooker?
LoL, i should care why ?. And it's true you can rape people in the game too on the PC version at least as i had a friend who used to use a female char until some one used a hack that allowed a such thing. Freaked him out totally.
People can say what they want about the game. Next they be wanting to stop war games as they will start saying they lead to wars.
GTA 4 Rules and i've not gone out in the real world and kill people and for those who do had some thing wrong with them before GTA or alike game even came out.
Pssh missed the fun part killing her after and getting ya cash back lol.
Well yeah, that's kind of the point. Maybe she should be teaching her kids the difference between reality, and virtual reality, rather than showing them how bad the actions portrayed in GTA4 are in real life...
That way, when they come across "morally questionable" games, they can be safe in the knowledge that IT'S NOT REAL.
Whats so special about that playing fact...
Not everywhere people are maniacal about videogames with adult rating.
If/when virtual reality becomes true, would you play GTA if it was perfectly realistic?
Another reason the tunnel should not of been built lol.
I play GTA 4 because of it lol. Tried playing less realistic like Saints Row 2 and shi that game sucks donkey balls.
I wouldnt say anything bad, that bloke whose got the controller is built like a brick shit house.
If I was playing a "real" game where the objective was to kill real people, then no, of course I wouldn't, but that's not the point.
The whole point in playing video games is to be able to do things you never would be able to do in the real world. Be that killing people, or fighting off the Grey Dwarf invasion stood side-by-side with Elves.
It's the same with films, books, and other forms of entertainment, most people watch films, read books etc. to get away from their lives for a little while. It's called "escapism". During that time you can be anything you like, a super hero, an evil villain, whatever you want, but at the end of the day, it's not real, and as long as you know the difference, there is no problem with that.
I started playing "violent video games" at the age of 13, but I had my father with me to show me, and to teach me that it wasn't real. 7 years later and I'm playing GTA 4 and other violent video games, and yet I've never been in trouble with the police, I've never killed anyone, and I've never (severely) beaten up anybody.

After Columbine, our clan was questioned by school officials. Did we get upset? Come to school with guns and pipe bombs? No, we got on TV!!!
It's not rape when your paying them.....
Well they could just drive around and play it like real life no ones stopping them... And never knew you could run hacks on a PS3 anyways.
Do you mean "Why should i care"?
I ask you the same. But if you don't care why did you even waste time clicking the thread when the title says all? *cough*
I know I know.. But I still think killing fictional people are bad for you. I know it's bad for me. ^^
uh...why are they playing in standard definition mode? that is the real crime here!
It's a game, they are fake, now if you start feel they are real or it is not fake, you might want to seek help. There is a separation between reality and games, if that line gets fuzzy, thats when there is an issue.
Anyone notice that the picture shows an Xbox? Not a 360.
Because people like me don't have the cash to go to ''teh 1337 HDness''. As long as i can play the game, i really don't give a $hit.(its not like 720p is this god send resolution)
Well CD, it does make a difference in console gaming. Gets the console playing peasants closer to how the PC gaming master race plays.
Question, she played the game, thought it was "violent", "immoral" and "potentially addictive" and then went home and put it in her personal gaming collection......I guess the last "issue" she had with the game was true since she kept the game around to play with the kiddies.
she is the French Minister. I think her family can afford it...
But in general i don't see whats so big about playing games in HD, its a very minuscule improvement, yet people get orgys just because on the box it says 720p/1080p. The whole ''more pixels/bigger screen'' BS is irrelevant to having a good time.
I read that post as ''why would anyone still be playing in SD?'', thats why i responded.
I personal see much more than a minuscule difference. SD compared to HD on most titles are worlds apart. And honestly, after you get use to see the game in a certain manner, in HD, going back to less just makes it seem worse. Some movies are not transferred to Blue-ray or HD well and thus you get more inconsistent results in movies. Games on the other hand always show some, if not, a lot of improvement.
THe point here is, arguing without tasting. Hes using a 19" monitor and i used to say the same when i was gaming 1440x900. Now i wish everything was 1920x1200.
