So last weekend my friend was out at some garage sale and he noticed an old PC in the back of a guys truck. He asked they guy about the PC and the guy said it was broken and it was going to the dump. My friend knows how good I am with computers, so he asked the guy if I he could have it. The guy said sure so my friend brought it to me. Took me about 10 min to get it working. Anyways, we decided that we want to mod the case and since my friend is a big steelers fan we thought that would be a good theme.
So colors will be black on the outside and yellow on the inside. Were gonna paint some of the exterior yellow as well (fan grills, external bolts, etc.)
We started working on it and here is what we have so far:
(gonna have to get that ugly dent out in the top)
Were gonna change the whole front panel to black w/ some yellow.
Sanding off all the old paint.
Cutting out all of the restrictive fan spots.
As for hardware were not sure what were gonna put in it yet. The system came with a 478 mobo and a 2ghz celeron. We might put his current rig in here but we would need a new mobo since he currently has a dell btx mobo (only stock things are dell mobo and case, everything else has be upgraded)
So what do you guys think? Were probably gonna work on it tomorrow and friday so we should have some more pics. Hopefully we be able to start painting by then too.
