My friend has a Linksys WRT54G rougter and a internal wireless card with his HP laptop. He had the internet go out last night but know it works but he can't get on the internet. The internet is working to the computer that is hard wired to the router. He says when he refreshes network it doesn't find his network. What could be wrong?

Both computer have Windows XP

check that someone hasnt screwed with your wireless settings. if he has never been in the control panel for the router before just press the reset button on the back and power cycle it.

I told him just to call HP and for them to tell him how to fix it was going to cost $80 but he just called linksys and they fixed it. He said they went into the settings and changed somethings and got it to work. Thanks for help.
