If you get it from steam you better read this.

FrontLines: Fuels of war reminds me of BF2 and from what I've seen it looks like a good buy. Even the bugs remind me of BF2 :wtf::roll:

Not sure yet about to load it up. I was making reference to the people in that forum I linked in my previous post.

Wow, you cannot pickup weapons in this game. A guy drops his weapon on the ground, you see it but cannot pick it up or use the ammo from it. Keys don't always function properly. I will apply the latest patch. I also noticed that I cannot enable AA in this game.

* OpenAL32.dll version 6.14.357.22
* wrap_oal.dll version 2.1.8.1
The above needs to be replaced as they are old

Same here, new setup just took use of all my funds. I played BF2 like crazy, and this game is supposed to be similar in a unique way. I definitely will be trying the demo, and maybe scrounge up a few bucks to buy the game if I like it. :D

It's not bad once you get use to the fact that some of the enemies will drop some awesome weapons you cannot pickup and use. :(

Scored a few kills within the first 3 minutes of the game online. Lag doesn't appear to be a problem.

My clan (-BeerMe-) is contemplating getting this...we play 2142/2 for BF and CoD4...but I did play some beta on this and it was pretty good. I'm definately looking at this as a purchase!

I like it.......but MAN it has it's issues.
Doesn't support (yet)
Crossfire/SLI
AA
Joysticks
VOIP
.......wow that's some major stuff, eh?
Here are some other complaints:
Aircraft handle like CRAP. THey're really inconsistent, and have really strange physics.......I'm a really good pilot in all the BF games, but this one is killing me.
Crossfire has a strange flickering texture bug, but I bet it will be fixed by the 8.3 Catalysts that are arriving tomorrow.
There aren't that many servers.
There is a server browser bug that causes the list to jump up/down when you're trying to scroll down, setting you back about a page up worth.

I like BF2 & 2142. What resolutions can you play at? I may pick this up.

i havent played it but been reading about it, sounds good but ive looked at what system you need to run it and i was hoping it could top cod4 ,but something tells me that 1 it not a dx10 game and 2 the min spec u need to play it is very low!so im thinking why not just get it on the 360?!!!

I'm running it at 1680x1050 at 60 FPS. However smooth frame rate is enabled (from UT3) and I cannot find the command to disable it in the FFengine.ini file

so in last weekend I ended the game in single player :)

and a simple bug that I found is a clipping shadows all the time.

I mention that I run on 3870x2 on vista x64

the game is very generous with open spaces, more sniper position and have a partial destructible scene :)

I also believe that the weapon damage are totally out from reality :)
Also the bullets don't hit a bot that stay behind a wall.

but is fun to play, I believe that will be more players that COD4 have.

I don't found in the game any claymore, or anti personal mine, or wire mine
