I think you might be asking for a bit too much. A new 775 2.66GHz Celeron and Asrock 775V88+ can be had for £62.

I would but in the UK companies take the piss with the cost of graphics cards, for £60/$120 your looking at a nvidia 6600LE or ATI x1300, whereas on tigerdirect in US i could get a 6800 Xtreme for that!

Do you mean this 6800 Xtreme? If so then it only has 8 pipelines and isn't going be all that great; about the same as a 6600GT. X1600 Pros can be found for around £60 - £65, but that's pretty much it for new cards. If you don't mind used, have a look here.

Actually should have 12 pixel pipes and 5 vertex's shown here: http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/326/2/ which is 4 pixel pipes and 2 vertex processors more than 6600 and is also 256 bit compared to 6600's 128
That Xtreme I linked to is based on the 6800XT core (also known as 6800LE) and only has 8 pipelines open; the same as a 6600GT but much lower clocked. I wasn't aware there were any other 6800 Xtremes.

EDIT: newegg also stock it and say it has 8 pipelines.

No problem, it's an understandable mistake. I learned a while ago never to trust XFX and their marketing division :shadedshu
