FS: MSI P35 Platinum MB

Like topic states, I have a P35 MB from MSI thats I just purchased and can't return. I would like to sell it at a reasonable price and ship to anywhere in Canada or U.S. I would also be willing to trade for a decent water cooling kit that is a complete set ready to go, shoot me some offers please and lets get this done.

Fair enough, pictures will be up later tonight, although I did mention I would trade for a water cooling system as well, why would I do that if I wanted to scam someone ? I'm looking in the range of $180 obo. I paid over $220 plus taxes for it, shoot me some offers, and like I said I will post some pictures of the board in the case running for those interested, thanks for the suggestions.

vr, you need to update your first post with information, prices, shipping charges, pictures, etc. And if you just purchased it, why can't you return it? Are you beyond the date of return? Is the board new in box or used? Things like that need to be addressed so that people who don't know you may be interested in purchasing from you, right now I don't think you could sell on Ebay with the info you've provided. But with a little information, that could change a lot. Plus the more you can list, the more you are showing the potential customers you know about the product (or know how to copy the features off the box word for word). If used, did you use the board to Overclock? If used, how long did you use it? I have more, but we'll see how you do with these for starters. Hope this helps you to get better results and possibly sell your Motherboard. But personally right now I wouldn't buy from you, not because I don't know you, there's no trust factor, you don't have a link to the MB's MFG page, or anything. Check the other For Sale threads in this section to learn some tips and tricks on how to properly sell online.

The board has been overclocked, if you are interested in this board, thats the main selling feature of this board, it overclocks with ease.

vr, I was interested when I first saw the post, but after seeing the lack of information posted I am no longer interested. Also I am not bored. I'm only trying to help you out. You put up an asking price of $180 I sent you a PM stating you can buy the board Brand New at NewEgg for $169. I was giving you a heads up to lower your price. It's called constructive criticism. Also the link to the board is just the global site link, you need an actual link. I suggest a link to NewEgg or finding the actual product on the MSI site. Nobody will want to buy a product off of someone who's too lazy to actually post the product's link. They look at it as if they can't do that, how are they responsible enough to actually ship the product on time, etc. Oh and I know the forum rules. I'm not doing anything "illegal." I'm merely trying to help you sell your product, I've sold quite a few things on here and other sites.

This is a computer based forum, most people should know a little about computers and the things on the market, if you don't want to buy then don't, keep your opinions to yourself about price and anything else for that matter. Settle down guys. The people who posted in this thread were offering suggestions, some of which you took and some you didn't (heatware or other references, for example). It's your right to do as you wish, but in my vast experience of selling things in the forums you sometimes need to bend-over backwards to give as much as you can to get things sold, especially when you first start.

If you guys have issues, leave them out of the thread, or we'll have to have a mod come in and straighten things out.

Thats 5 different people offering me their opinions on how to sell my Mother board, yet non of them have offered me anything of value to speak of. I thought this was the buy/sell forum, perhaps it is the lets see if we can ruin the guys thread so that no one will want to buy the mother board forum. I can understand some of the suggestions you have made, although this a MB not a freaking house or car for that matter, if you don't have the money to buy, then stop lurking around the forums just cause you're bored.

I'm sorry, but I take offense at the idea that I (being one of those five people) didn't offer you anything of value. There is way too much scamming going around in forums that make everyone suspicious. Even if you are a legitimate seller, you still need to provide some proof of what you have (pics) and who you are (heatware or other refs). And if you want to attract buyers, you need to list a competitive price.

I really don't think any of us did anything wrong here, as we were interested enough to look in the first place, and then we asked the same things we'd ask of any seller we don't know. If anyone has ruined this thread it was you, with your hostility and disrespect for the valuable opinion of others. If you don't like my opinion, that's fine. Good luck with your sale then, because you're going to need it.

If you take offense to that thats fine, it's the first thing you have understood so far. 1st of all the pictures are up, the price is up OBO btw, I offered pay pal and escrow to anyone who is interested, are you people slow or just been hit over the head a few too many times. They were trying top help you sell it by suggesting you put up more information.
The info you supplied will not gwet that motherboard sold and not posting heatware etc or any info whatsoever is AGAINST forum policy so technically unless changed this thread is not valid for a complete list pf rules look at the forum guidlines on the top of this sections page.

So what you're saying is that without Heatware I can't sell on this forum ? I don't see it in the guidelines, but others have broken almost every rule in here.

When posting in FS/FT, you must follow these guidelines-

Only post in a FS/FT thread if you are...
1) Bumping the thread. (Once every 24 hours for sellers)
2) Interested in the item and asking a question.
3) Negotiating the price of an item you want to buy. (But this should preferably be done through private messages.)

Don't do these things in FS/FT threads:
1) Argue over whether prices are fair, or...
2) ...say that something else is cheaper elsewhere.
3) Argue with other members.
These guidelines will be strictly enforced, with infractions resulting for violations.

As you wish, I'm sorry you didn't have a better selling experience here.

The guys that were saying "you need to have a starting price!" or "where are the pics?" are well meaning people. They know that people who follow all the rules of the BSTG section (need pics, heatware, and a price) have a MUCH higher chance of getting something sold on TPU.
