I kind of like these 'cases' that can't decide if they are a case or a test bench. :laugh:

This would have been really interesting if you could have separated the two halves. That's a really disappointing design choice.

Good review on a pricey case that has some definite quirks/drawbacks.

That was my thought reading the review exactly... is this a fancy test bench??

The practical use is quite close to zero here.. a glorious combination of negatives of either design. It has no ease of use for component changes, and offers no advantages that a closed design would. Pretty neat for 500 bucks.

Uhhh...Yeah, no. This thing looks like somebody, or a few somebodies got together, got shitfaced, then one dude suddenly got the "idea" to make this case. But rather than any actual planning/thought, said dude hastily scribbled the design out on a napkin and showed it to the other shitfaced dudes...and because they, too, were shitfaced, of course they all thought it looked amazing and needed to be produced :roll:

That thing is as expensive as it is impractical.

I pretty sure the artistes interested in purchasing one of these abstract art-pieces isn't remotely concerned about cost or practicality; this is a showpiece for people with lots of surplus money and a penchant for this particular style of randomly arranged bent metal.
