Thats a shame as the editor needs to be run on a 64bit os.

I guess the editor will work on xp or vista but only on a 64bit os.

Its ok for me,its the only way to run games in dx10 tho',however good that is or not at the moment.

I've never had a single bsod on vista in 6mths,i cant say that about xp.But each to his own i guess.

I don't know anyone who uses XP ever having a BSOD. BSOD normally happens when attempting to OC, tweaking programs or games, edit registry, failed to properly install chipset drivers or something alone those lines. XP just doesn't BSOD for no reason. I have checked up on some people's PC for a long time and never once have they reported a BSOD. Sure, I have to delete adware which slows down their internet connection, help them install new components etc but never once did XP blue screen.

Now if you were talking about win98, that's a completely different story :p

In any case, the developers of the game did state that Crysis would run better using 64-bit OS. That's why I thought this would be worth talking about. However, keep in mind they are working on a patch lets up that improves performance.

Uh, DX9 and DX10 are different, so moot point?

These tools really need to move on to writing about something new, and quit being redundant.
