pointless ...

He's not building it, he already has it and is just upgrading the processor.... Better than dropping $600 on a new Intel build, jesus does no one read the op anymore?

I doubt it's going to be enough paired with the GPU you have in specs , I have a 4.4 ghz FX-6300 and it probably goes over 125W spec as it is , that mounstrosity is a lot more power thirsty , keep in mind that 220w TDP AMD provides is very optimistic like with every other FX chip . Like others said , I would strongly advice you on getting a 8350/8320e instead and give them a decent OC , the difference in peformance would be really small and not worth it.

Why don't you go sell yours and build a kabylake build?

i would sell that entire FX 4320 build and get a skylake locked i5 .... for what ever you will use for...

Just go with a nice intel build.... They outperform these power hungry amd chips...

I just don't see the point of building a power hungry amd build with fx9590 to stream some videos now and then....
Sorry, but what a waste of money and waste of power consumption.:shadedshu:

pointless ...

You plussed one the above quote who said I don't see the point in building a power hungry amd build hence my comment.... So sick of all the same comments on here in every amd thread every single time telling people to ditch their crap and go with Intel /nvidia.... Some people don't need /want the best performing, since people do actually still like and prefer to use amd for whatever their reasons.... There's a nice little Intel v amd thread been started not long ago, I'm sure you'll have a blast in their telling all the amd users their parts are crap etc :toast:

Yes Sir as u sayd here many time :p but i dont want intel, want more core performance, multy thread application. Told u i pay only 100Euro/400 Ron

Question is what is better for me and that psu to handle with no problems,9590 with pw saving on full load how much wattage eats?

Or second option a FX 83xx and some OC :) THX

already starting a skylake based build, + Z270 and DDR4 problem?

the problem there is your PSU dude, you must upgrade to a decent, at least 80+ certified 600w psu, for using FX 9000 at least 600W, you know the reasons why we suggest that tiny upgrade

At that price the 9590 is cheap and worth considering, as long as you are aware the power consumption will be higher and it will probably heat your room.
As long as you only do light applications on that system it should run fine, but the PSU may be underpowered under a heavy load.

Might not be worth it if it kills your board and PSU. I don't know how well that board can handle 220w being shoved into it but you'll easily need a new PSU and cooler. Pretty sure someone on the forums was selling a nice Xeon build that has more threads and uses less power than what you're thinking of using. Honestly would be an upgrade.

For FX 9590 a quality 500W PSU is enough if you have some weaker GPU like R7 240 or GT 930 with one HDD or SSD. More powerful or mid-range GPU's paired with FX 9590 will require at least 600W (at least 540 effective watts), while power hungry GPU's like R9 390 or GTX 980 will require at least 650 W (at least 600 effective watts) PSU.
Don't forget that you'll need a really good cooler like Cryorig H5 Ultimate, Be Quiet Dark Rock 3, Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power (this one would be my choice if you can fit 171mm tall cooler), Noctua NH U14S, Deepcool Lufifer v2 etc. or dual-fan 240/280 mm water cooling for that CPU.

You're like, avoiding the GTX1050 completely since that could be used but at least you got the point of the quality PSU part.

Oh and the Deepcool Lucifer shouldn't be used for that chip since I used it on my 4790k and it got pretty warm even on lowered voltages. Mind you 100w max heat created.

There's also a GTX 460, usually cheaper and slightly slower, or RX 470 which is faster and slightly more expensive. I was making an example about necessary PSU requirements and clearly mentioned GPU segment. For the example, GTX 1050 is a mid-range GPU.

I misspelled "Lucifer"; not that I didn't know cooler's and satan's name. That cooler should handle OC'ed 4790K like a champ if it's mounted correctly and without visible damages or factory defects.

Did that, two fans in push-pull, correct mounting, couldn't take it past 1.3v from heat.

Lol my card stated 750 but Those are general reqs as they are talking about average psus, aka lower end/budget models. I just happen to overclock and use my psus for several builds so mine is considered overkill to the majority on tpu. I honestly feel a high quality 500 would run it up to 4.8GHz at most. Otherwise just to be safe Seasonic just had a sale on a 1050W for 80bux and its the same line as mine (kicks ass)
