It wasn't a no off the bat lol, I mean, it's worth trying, worst that can happen is you sell them for the price you paid, probably 5 bucks to ship. They are still BNIB, lifetime warranty for close to half off retail

I have a pair of those running in my sons rig and they will easily overclock to 1066mhz at their rated timings. If you loosen the timings a bit more to 5-5-5-15 then I am more than sure you would be able to OC these higher. These are very good sticks you should read the reviews.
