G.SKILL Achieves DDR5 Memory Frequency Overclock World Record at DDR5-12872 with French Overclocker bl4ckdot

This incredible frequency record was achieved with one 24 GB module of G.SKILL Trident Z5 DDR5 memory, built with high-performance SK hynix DDR5 ICs, running on the ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard and Intel Core Ultra 9 285K desktop processor under extreme liquid nitrogen (LN2) cooling.

CUDIMM does not count. Most likely, it's CUDIMM and therefore, in my point of view not DDR5.

We had DDR3L and similar names, where it was obvious the L Suffix it is something else.

You can put it into a regular ddr5 desktop board so whats the issue?

FYI this isn't CUDIMM. I used standard UDIMM, as anyway CUDIMM isn't better for that, for various reasons :
If you enable the CKD chip, the cold bug of the stick is around -40°C, which is very limiting for trying such record. Secondly the CUDIMM pcb isn't as good as some of the UDIMM pcb for such high frequency.
