hey guys I got this problem with the 1070!
I get really bad fps on pretty much every game. e.g in need for speed I should have 90 fps but it stays around 60-70 let alone the hangs to 15 for couple of seconds.
I tried everything I found on the internet like:
reinstalling correctly the drivers + installing the hot fix driver from NVidia.
adjusting the control panel vsync etc.
is my gpu faulty?
my specs are fx-8350
8 gb ram gskill
860w corsair psu
ps I just tried with everything on low on need for speed and I got like 10 fps more!
AND THE SOLUTION IS......
SHUT DOWN NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL!
at least that worked for me!(for lag spikes)
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!!!!
