if its any thing like the 2gig GTX285, the memory is wasted 95% of the time, the bus simple can not take advantage of it.

well that screan rez is not as good as a 22" 1680x1050 or a 24" 1920x1200, so you could get away with a lesser video card, even tho the screan is big, the rez is not and does not need as much vram.

22"= 1680x1050 = shitty for HD movies. It's either an upscaled 720p image, or a downscaled 1080p image.

24" = 1920x1200 = perfect for HD movies. Plays 1080p at its native resolution.

Better looking games are just an added benefit.

That's because your 22" monitor has a Tn-Film panel in it. (all 22" are Tn-Film) Buy a 20" or 24" with either a PVA panel, or an IPS panel of some sort, and your games will look like ass on the TV in comparison. (Provided the same quality settings can be used)

Ahh, fair enough. Yeah, I would rather games on your HDTV vs your 22" monitor as well.

Well then, back on topic. lol. I hope more manufacturers release double frame buffer cards. I like not having to worry about running out of video memory. lol.

i have hdtv at home and i have used it as a monitor,my experience is that they arent that good!BUT THAT IS MY OPINION NOT YOURS :rolleyes:

ewww that cpu would be a huge bottle neck and chances of OCing it are slim to none with that mobo.

cant wait for the reviews, would like to see were and if the vram helps much if any, from other reviews it does not seam to help much if at all.
