Best story? Totally Halo they made FPS's.

Actually my favorite storyline is the one of HL2, or Bioshock. Bioshock is a fun storyline that really sucks you in. Especially 2.

I totaly agree Bioshock was really good but i'm am yet to play the second one

The best story line and my fav of all time has got to be The Onimusha series I completed all four but the forth one was a let down
However the other three are epic

Come on guys... let's get real. The games mentioned do have a good story for an fps/rpg/rts but are nothing compared to games where the game IS the story...

its not like games with missions or that are always a grat story, well i guess swat 3/4 had some decent missions with a little interesting get up but its not like an overarching storyline, like the tie fighter series are great storywise difficult to say

kinda hard because i like the street fighter series but its not exactly the games that make the story is it because its just fighting its all the other paraphernalia like the movies and fan stuff

bioshock i do not understand the love for it, i thought it was worth a playthrough but never the dizzy heights its fans give it, the story was kinda rubbish too

Yeah I have all 3 of them and they are still the best games I have ever played . They are just what you say ! The story line is also great . Nothing like having the sensation of desperation along with being the ONLY ones to fight for your survival while every one ells wants you wiped out of the universe .

I like that part as well ! But the best part is the last part . when " There can be no turning back now " . It is so epic ! It gives me goose bumps EVERY TIME I hear that !
