Strangely enough this is exactly what I, and anyone who knows anything about Intel's lack of competence in the GPU space, has been predicting literally since Arc was announced.

Good news is that with the latest $500 million loss Pat Gelsinger is looking to aggressively cut non-performing products, so hopefully Arc will be flushed soon.

Imagination Technologies/PowerVR has a better chance of releasing a working DX/Vulcan/OpenGL/CL card than intel does at this rate (if they would consider it).

I'd question the sources, seems like pure speculation. 2 of those dont cite any sources, and "according to sources" does not even count. The 2 that used the video as source were mislead by it. The video did not show nothing that wasnt already public and using his "unique" perspective created these rumors. So my guess the 2 articles that didnt cite the sources were regurgitated from the 2 articles that did have sources cited. Also, Tweaktown would go dumpster diving to find something to write about, thats what bottom feeders do.

well the example link to news mentioning it i've taken are just the few first 4 out of many ... not that i hope it's true ofc (as i mentioned, it would not surprise me either)

also it might have to do why Intel is only releasing A380 in China ... are they trying to cash it quickly using that market?
if Intel is acting as i think they do and if they cancell Battlemage : then they are officially dead to me, no matter the performances of Raptor lake over Ryzen 7X00, but that's a big pair (that's what she said... eh? ) of "if"

i do want them to succeed in the GPU market (although they are, indeed, shaming themselves and look like total amateur with the drivers QC/QA, i mean, come on ... it's not the the first video drivers they did ... ) but right now it looks grim, no matter what peoples see about their performances ... it's still "too little too late" and somewhat overpriced given the price drop we are finally, thanks dog (not a typo, although i am a bit dyslexic), seeing with AMD/Nvidia.

The main reason I'm not watching GN and HU videos, unless it's about the product i seriously consider buying. 25min+ videos are an insult to people which earn their money by any other means than sitting in an office watching YT.

You can always cut GN rant videos down to 2-3 minutes and get the same information out of it.. Steve hates everything and Linus on the other hand loves everything.

Steve is trying hard to not use the F word in almost every sentence. Such a nervous guy, I would recommend THC therapy. Linus make content for kids.

On the topic: Anyone that expected that Intel will make a competitive product in a PC component market with the fearcest competition is out of their mind. Money can't buy decade of research and development.

Hey now, my Latitude E7270 can run GTA V almost playable...

On the serious note, I hope when the Arc A770 is finally actually for sale it'll be at a reasonable price, because I'd definitely be interested in purchasing one. I'm happy with my Tesla M40 for now but I'd like a "proper" gaming GPU eventually. At that point I expect the driver issues will be mostly sorted out.
