Games that 'hitch' the most based on your experience

Pretty much most modern games. DCS, ArmA 3, BF3/4 load time is cut in half to. I assume stutters will be less frequent. I've heard of complaints in many games due to stuttering or excessively long load times when people use HDDs.

Any game with hw physx.. that crap is one unoptimized code.. newer physx 3 is better but still not it.

That’s why they have the old Legacy PhysX install available. It works by fooling the few affected games into thinking the hardware they refer to is present. Velvet Assasin is one that needs it, but runs great after install.

Mafia 2 is another that’s not happy without the PhysX that “went with it”

All those with super ancient are ok.. there weren't much though.. but newer with v2.8

For example Alice in wonderland 2 isn't using ancient code and it's a disaster

Batman Arkham asylum and 2nd one also.

The secret world -uses v3 and still rubbish

Cod ghosts uses apex turbulence and that is bad as well by explosions

Void something, the one with rocket backpack also terrible

Killing floor 2 with physx 3 is another, I thought they would fix it but no..

Like I said I have quite a few and all run bad. To the point it's basically poor engine coding.. with low GPU utilization when it happened.

Also certain u3e games had crap streaming that killed it for me multiple times.. I remember bulletstrom really well.. had to fiddle with engine ini cfg and it still stream stuttered randomly.. I gave up in the end.. was too annoyed.
