Sonic The Hedgehog, those games need to go back to 2D or just die

i know its just sorrowing the name of sonic, sonic adventure 1 and 2 on the sega dreamcast where a good start but after that every 3d sonic has blown

only decent sonic games recently are the DS ones basically sonic side scroll with a 3d characters so it looks like the old sonic but sonic is 3d himself

COD (still haven't played one I've found to be original in any way, other than perhaps the Normandy rush from the first, but they took that from the movies), Sims expansions (although the core games themselves are good, just wish they would include it all in the one package), Madden (EA is so terrible they are about 3 years back from where they should be, we need NFL 2k), any other game where little thought goes into the sequel other than $$

i guess you havent seen the preview of the new 1. To add another Mario, sorry he doesnt need to be in sports games, Racing in karts has been done over and over, and also Galaxy doesnt come close to that of Mario 64,

Mario is Nintendo. Get rid of Mario and Zelda and there's no longer a compelling reason to own a Nintendo system. Mario Kart was one of the first to do Karts, and they do it like no other. In fact, most Mario games are strikingly original in their take on the genre they are entailing, and Super Mario Galaxy was a fantastic game, nothing will likely ever come close to the experience that Mario 64 was, b/c a game like that moving to 3D can't be reproduced. That doesn't make Galaxy less of a game, just less revolutionary (which is like I said not likely to be topped soon in that respect). In short, how can you not like Mario?

Any Star Wars related games... seriously, they all combine with one another after a time. Also, Halo, they should of stopped at 2... Sadly, I have to say Flight Simulator, I like the game, but releasing a new version that has 1 more plane and looks the same as the previous version...

To save some space here, im gonna say ANY EA game thats had over 3 iterations/expansions (yeah, im looking at you Need for Speed, The Sims etc)

Tomb Raider - crap since the PS1 (ok so the newer ones arent bad, they just arent ahead of other games in the genre like the first ones were)

Any James Bond game - people think its gonna be the next Goldeneye, when in fact, its crap

Track and Field - I liked breaking records (and pads), not dancing with a bloody ribbon!

I'm talking about single player, and I didn't mod the game. The game has recoil if you spray, but if you click for every bullet, which is how I always shoot (maybe because I play a lot of CSS and have been playing since CS was a mod), you don't have it or is so fast that you can kill 3 enemies in a second without noticing it. No effective recoil as I said.

Well if you want some real stealth missions let me know . UBI screwed with the community by saying were listening to them but GRAW series or any thing but like GR.

I agree, the only thing I'd change in that list is NFS, I think Underground 2 was the best and everything after just didn't do it for me

Was not much for them too they were lame compared to Porsche Unleashed.

SOF3 - absolute betrayal of the franchise

NFS 2000 (Porsche Unleashed) - brilliant in its time, sequels never lived up to expectations and a racing sim turned into arcade chaser. Blach. Undergraound didnt deliver IMO. Played it for a few hours then lost interest. And that STUPID road layout. Nowhere in the world would there be a city or an island with such asinine unrealistic road planning.

SOF 2 i did not like compared to SOF1. As for SOF 3 never bothered with missing 2.

Indeed, Porsche Unleashed owned damage repairs and the sheer control of the cars was totally sweet with a steering wheel. A friend of mine used to come around to my house every other weekend and thats all he wanted to play and he hated Porsche's.

But now it just about graphics.

Yup. NFS needs to die. I mean, the people that buy NFS now are like "sympathy purchases." They buy it just to see how bad it is. That is, to see if EA out did their last bad NFS game. XD

I didn't like Goldeneye either. The only Bond game I came to like was Nightfire on PC. It was created by the same crowd that worked on Counter Strike: Condition Zero (Gearbox Software). It was a great FPS although failed in terms of graphics for the most part. It was still years of great fun though.
