Gaming laptop for under $1300

I'm looking to buy a laptop that can play games like Black Ops and Bad Company 2 at decent framerates online. (so like 40+?), on medium to high settings. My total budget cannot exceed $1300. Perhaps this isn't even possible, I don't know. I've been looking on newegg, and there's machines with dual core i5 450M and i5 460M and quad core i7 740QM. Which one would be more appropraite for games? Any other recommendations? I'm tied between a GTX 285, a Radeon 5870 and a GTX 460M for graphics. (at this range anyway)

Any help is greatly appreciated as always.

this is what i think you should get, adding the HD5850 for $150, its what I would get if I was you.
I will be buying one of these in a year or so.

Any of these laptops matches your description:
ASUS G Series G53JW-XN1 NoteBook Intel Core i7 740...
MSI GT660R-004US NoteBook Intel Core i7 740QM(1.73...
MSI GX660-053US NoteBook Intel Core i5 450M(2.40GH...

But i would reconmend getting the 5870M as it is supposingly be an equalivent to 5750 or 5770 desktop GPU.
Edit: Highly reconmend getting quad if you want play bad company 2 and for maybe future games.

Waht do you guys think of the quad core vs dual cores above?

^^ A fast dual core from Intel(having HT) will help with a faster graphics card. It's better than a quad core but slower graphics.

Go quad for sure, soon all games will use 4 cores
