Gateway today debuts its new Gateway NE Series line of notebooks in Canada. The new Gateway NE notebook line delivers the ultimate blend of essential performance, popular features and great extras for learning, playing, being productive and staying in touch. In addition, the new Gateway NE notebooks feature an all-new design that is sleek and stylish; its matte black finish is highlighted by brushed stainless steel accents.

The Gateway NE notebook PCs feature a 15.6-inch 720p High Definition LED-backlit widescreen display with a 1366x768 resolution that delivers lifelike details, vibrant color and superior image quality. The 16:9 aspect ratio is ideal for enjoying HD movies and video. Plus, the high definition audio and two built-in stereo speakers improve the entertainment experience with crisp, clear sound. The widescreen size makes room for a full-sized keyboard and a dedicated numeric keypad, a great extra for students and anyone using their PC for their small business or home bill paying. The multi-gesture touchpad gives customers the ability to intuitively navigate through programs, websites, photos and more.
