A computer at my work is a Gateway E-2000. We reloaded XP on it yesterday, only to realize that there's no motherboard driver disc to be found. Luckily, we were able to find the Intel 845G chipset drivers, which took care of NIC and onboard GPU drivers. However we're still running into issues finding a working sound card driver. If I go onto the Gateway site and type in my serial number, the only drivers available are for a monitor (seen here). We believe it is a Realtek AC'97 chip. I've downloaded the latest Realtek AC'97 A4.03 drivers. This just causes the system to crash. Any help that anybody can offer would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
