geforce 9100 or Radeon HD 4830

which of the cards in the title are better? the Geforce is a integrated thing while the Radeon is its own dedicated card. reason im asking is because i heard that the Geforce is a very weak integrated card.

Yeah it is. A 4830 is a serious performance card. More like a 9800 than a 9100. A 9100 probably won't run much if anything at all.

I upgraded from a Geforce 9300 (faster than the 9100) to an 8800 (a bit slower than the 4830), and the difference was incredible. Games that had previously been barely playable I could turn the settings up a lot, and FPS was through the roof. And games that I had never been able to play before I could now play flawlessly. You will be stunned by the difference

The HD4830 should be some 20x faster than the 9100 (which is the weakest of all the 16-shader nVidia IGPs). It's a whole other league.

Problem is, we could have compared it if there were benchmarks for the 9100, which I doubt there are!

Anyways, you're 1000% better off with the 4830. I tried a 9400 once, that was pure garbage, even my 8600 is better than it. So I have a slight idea of what to expect of the 9100!
