guys i am buying gtx260 from friend ok cos he is seeling it to be and getting gtx280 for him self.anything i have to check in card before i buy it its a stock verion.and he used it only for 20 days

I don't know... With only a 450watt PSU (even though it's a quality one), and a quad core, it may not be enough under load. Check how many amps you have on the 12v rail for the PSU and see if it meets the requirements of the GTX 260. I don't really think it does.

It better be a very good price..because the 260 is getting a facelift next month and the old ones will be very cheap.

Idk, Corsair PSU's are known to do some crazy things...I think he will be able to get away with a Quad and GTX260...just barely.

Yeah, that power supply is cutting it real close. It would probably work, but I would look to replace it in the near future. Running the PSU at nearly max will certainly make it run hot, and shorten it's life significantly.

The VX450 is rated for 33A on the 12v rail. The recommended specs for the GTX260 are 36A, but those are only recommendations.
