How much do you want to spend? If 159.99 is your budget then go for it.

Maplin are usually way overpriced, but this is actually a good deal.

I would suggest going NVIDIA, but if you're ok with AMD, then this is a great budget buy.

that card will complement your system nicely.

edit: you said that you are looking for a new board and i would assume that its so you can overclock you cpu. in this case you need a p67, z68, z75, or z77 chipsets to do so. if you look on ebay the price is kind of high but if you offer most of those people like 60% of their asking price they will take it. just dont spend over 60 bucks total. in my opinion anything higher and its to much.

I had a gtx 660. Only used it for a year then bought amd R9 390. The difference is night and day. I game much smoother and better at 1080p. All my game settings are at high/ultra. If you have the budget I suggest going for it even if it's used.

I usually just ignore posts like these, but I have seen so many from you that I just had to say something - stop with the indirect fan boy-ism.

I agree. Both brands are good. I have used both. Every one has a preference.

It's like Intel vs amd. The war never stops.
Each caters to a different audience and has pros and cons
