Anyone got the recently released Gigabyte 3090 OC w/ Resizable Bar VBIOS image? Trying to flash my PNY 3090 with it but can't find it in the TechPowerUp Bios Collection.

I have the Kingpin hybrid bios flashed to my 3090 gaming x trio. Simply went and downloaded the latest EVGA Precision x1, updated bios from within the software. Bingo, BAR supporting fully working.

Unfortunately the Gigabyte tool isn't working for me. The program itself throws an "file not found" error, as if it cannot extract the files properly for whatever reason.

Which card do you have?

If possible, and appropriate, flash another vendors bios and use their software.

Thats what I'm trying to do. I have a PNY GeForce RTX 3090 24GB XLR8 Gaming Revel which is currently flashed with the Gigabyte 3090 Gaming OC bios found in the TechPowerUp Bios Collection for that extra 30W TDP.

I would like to stick to using a Gigabyte BIOS since I'm 100% sure it works perfectly with my PNY card.

EDIT: In case this is useful for anyone, I ended up flashing my PNY card with this GALAX 3090 2-pin reference 390W bios. It's ReBar enabled!

This bios works for me on my Zotac 3090 but with the resizeable bar, I get worse performance in Time Spy.

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/nvidia-pci-express-resizable-bar-performance-test/

"While AMD enabled Resizable BAR across the board, for all titles, NVIDIA chose a more fine-grained approach—Resizable BAR is only activated for specific games after NVIDIA has tested them."

Update 7:30 pm CET:
You can use NVIDIA Profile Inspector to modify Resizable BAR game support settings. Credit goes to @chrcoluk.

TimeSpy isn't on the NVidia list.
Time Spy is a benchmarking tool from 3DMark.

My base score from my Zotac with a 350w bios scored almost 2k points higher than the Galax 3090 390w bios listed here. The KFA 3090 390w bios without resizable bar, I previously had flashed scored over 20,000.

I am aware that only certain games support resizable bar, however, it should not impact my graphics so negatively. I lost around 15FPS with the bios listed.

i had the same issue moose. i ended up using the file for the uprising instead as they are the same exact card except for RGB support. it worked fine and i now have bar enabled. im tempted to try the galax bios for the extra power though.

edit: scratch that. for some reason the fan profile on the uprising wouldn't run my fans to true 100%. card was running hotter. i found the official bar enabled bios for the revel that someone uploaded here and just manually flashed my card instead to the proper bios. fans are hitting 100% like they used to now.

this is the one you need moose. just manual flash via nvflash tool. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/231607/231607

Thanks for that! Resizable BAR is now enabled, interestingly I found out that it should only work on the next gen of CPUs to mine but it says it's working so

HI,

I have the same PNY 3090 RTX Revel card and was wondering which BIOS would work on it - any 400+ or 500w tested?
