Ok guys i just bought myself a new 8370 Wraith cooler cpu ,And right now i can not for the life of me get the graphics card clip to unlock to get more wiggle room around the cpu cooler,This the kind of clips on the REV 3.1boards http://www.gigabyte.com/fileupload/product/2/5365/20150224161111_big.jpg Zoom in and you will see the flip down clips,But my problem is i have a MSI R 390 twin forzer Gamer installed and it cover nearly all of the clip.Any ideas l like maybe a rubber flat head screw driver ? to get it unclipped.

I have used a screwdriver before, you just have to be careful not to use too much force otherwise they can snap off.

I use a kebab skewer for jobs like that, you wont scratch anything if you slip and there is a little bit of flex.

They are also very useful for adding fans in awkward header locations. Use the pointy end push the connector home then twist to remove it.

Put some insulation tape around the screw driver

Plastic butter knife or popsicle stick will also work

Worked like a charm Got it out and cpu is in very happy You guys are the best tech support community on the inter web. Just have it at auto and the cpu temps in bios were 24 and 29 i think not sure which temps are cpu but this new stock cooler so far works great (even with the stock tim on it.will test it out and see after a week if it goes up.

Ok 10 mins of idle on win 8.1 my motherboard temp is 19c and cpu with stock TIM Pad is 21c man that is like 13 degrees better then the old Zalman 9700 cooler i have.

My update,Had some problems with drivers and faulty PSU.,Ran 3dmark,3dMark11,Vantage ect and GTAV for 3 plus hours (which it would crash after 20 mins on old PSU)Temps on stock cooler and tim pad averaged max 50c and the 12v on my new PSU stayed a steady 12.096v never dropped into the 11.7v like the old one did. So i am very happy with this cooler,maybe next is the overclock stuff.

one, wanted too try the new stock cooler,right now trying to get my credit card company too approve payment of my d15 been at it all week.My thoughts of the stock Wraith cooler,best to use it until you get money for a better cooler if your not doing overclocking then it is fine,just check the paste every three months or so.

the D15 will do well I think. My cooler is considered Slim but its holding this 8350 Up well

Whats even better is I have no need to do any formats on this rig like I did when I was using soley HDDs
