Now that the launch is drawing near, the details of all the offerings are being revealed. The Gigabyte boards will come in 5 versions, using the S to denote each variant. The S5 board is high-end, while the S1 would be low-end. The M59SLI-S5 has dual x16 PCIe graphics, dual eSATA ports, dual BIOSes, ten USB 2.0 interfaces, dual Gigabit LAN, two Firewire-400 and eight SATA 3.0Gbps interfaces. The M59SLI-S4 will not have the AC888HD audio but will come with the AC883 audio codec instead. It will only have a single bios, a single Gigabit LAN, no external SATA connectors and only 6 internal SATA ports.

Hmmm....

The board has 3 PCI-E ports... I wounder if that would allow for Tri-Chrome S27's!?!

You never know, as the S27's aren't platform dependent.
