Gigabyte's AORUS branding is becoming closer and closer to ASUS' ROG in the scope and market of their products. Not letting itself be shadowed by ASUS' headset offerings, Gigabyte has just announced impending availability of their H5 Gaming headset, which brings beryllium to what is usually a neodymium fight. Beryllium is considered to be generally superior to neodymium-based drivers, and AORUS is banking on that as the main differentiator for improved acoustics. Like all AORUS products these das, there's support for RGB lighting and control through software suites, and an increased concern with ergonomics, so that this headset can be used through long gaming sessions with the least amount of fatigue possible. That is one of the reasons it comes in at 285 g.

Multi-platform compatibility (PC, console and mobile) and a removable, bendable microphone round out the attributes of this particular headset, which makes use of a 3.5 mm jack for sound, while making use of a USB connector to power its RGB capabilities. Expect this headset to arrive soon.

It might be a bit too gamery for me to want to wear it in public. Still, this headset and the strix fusion 300 are potentially alternatives to the kraken pro v2, so I can't wait for reviews!

Honestly have zero sympathy for products like these.

Headsets for this money, completely retarded marketing making up for mediocre audio.

How much is it then? Could be 50-60 dollars for all we know.

Still, the audio-technica ar5bt's have a 3.5mm connector so I can use a v-moda boompro at home and have slightly lesser wireless audio on the go. 230 euros and it should be great for everything! It is time to get into the big boy league.

Quite confused.

With neodymium, you make magnets. With berillium, you make the cone/driver. Different material for different pieces.
I can believe this uses Nd magnets still, since those can't be compression driver like a tweeter.

50-60 dollars for this? Naah. Going to be 80-90 plus, making it far too expensive.

50 would be spot on for what you're getting.
