Just a question, which USB 3.0 controller did you test? As if that's the AMD one, then they've really sorted out their chipset/drivers as the A75 chipset had really sucky performance. If it's the Etron chip, then it seems like the newer drivers have boosted the performance a little bit.

looking at other reviews then i would say the USB3 is actually the AMD one , as its about 25% faster than others give for the Etron usb3 controller

I've been rocking this mobo with a 5800K since day one with no problems. Solid product from Gigabyte that's for sure.

Yes, I do believe it was the AMD USB 3.0. Both SATA and USB3 performance increased with the 12.10 driver release on this board. Was worth the wait, IMHO.

Yes/No. Personally, I like having the expansion slots, and there are many full ATX HTPC cases that make HTPC look like an amp or similar.

Which card did u use for Asus crosshair, 6670?
Again idle power consumption is somewhat inasanely low. I bet light-threaded consumption is low too.

I heard FM1 and FM2 chips can be undrervolted nice around 1.275v, any chance to test it?

Dave, Water should have gotten close to 5Ghz IMO. Did the board prohibit it?
