Gigabyte recently announced its new G-Power 2 Pro CPU heatsink which adds additional airflow to the CPU Mosfets. This airflow helps to provide additional cooling for those Mosfets, making it easier for the motherboard to provide stable power for hungry CPUs. The G-Power 2 Pro has some nice features, including a very quiet 120mm fan.

First off they can Improve this design by providing the dual side heatpipe, and a customizable fan that works with the shroud, also the thing of the cooler not sitting in Lian LI latest case shouldnt be points deducted. Also they should include MOSFET Heatsinks for motherboards without.

Very nice. Love the look and the angle. Also, t_ski, you mentioned the mobo had to be removed, is that just for Intel Mobos (like with all coolers) or AMD ones as well?

No, just the Intel. AMD boards will clip from the top.

It looks way too plastic for my tastes. Gigabyte could of also made the fan clear plastic so the fan didnt look as ugly.

I've been quoted €54 (=$71) by my local retailer for this cooler, ridiculous money!
