Hello.

I do have an old 'Gigabyte GTX 1070 Mini ITX OC' GPU. You can see the info about the GPU here: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/193322/gigabyte-gtx1070-8192-170309

The fan on my GPU is about to die very soon. It's acting up and are making some weird noises. So It's a clear sign that the fan is about to die and needs to be changed. So I have stopped using the GPU because of that and are running on my IGP from my 'Intel Core i5-4690k CPU from the stoneage now :) .

Is it possible to get hold of the same original fan that is on this GPU from somewhere?

I don't think 'Gigabyte' will be able to help me with that i'm pretty sure as this GPU is so old and such.

And I absolutely don't want to buy a new GPU (like the 3060 / 3060 Ti) now before the new 4000-series GPU's from NVIDIA is coming out later this year.

Hope someone can help with this as it's just a small problem with the fan.

EDIT: I found this on eBay that might be the fan I need: 4Pin Graphics Card Cooling Fan GTX1060/1080/1070 GPU Cooler for Gigabyte Mini | eBay

i'd just thake the shroud off and smack a 120mm fan on it.

I could have done that if it haven't been for the glass side doors (2 of them) on my computer case (Jonsbo T8 Black). So the GPU needs to look good. The temperature on this GPU is not a problem with the stock cooler. With the stock cooler, i'll never go above 73 degrees celcius. So it's all good.

However, after taking off the GPU fan now, I see that the fan I use is actually this exact fan with that model number and specs: NEW 88MM T129215SU 12V 4Pin Cooling Fan For Gigabyte GTX1060 GTX1070 Cooler Fan | eBay

That fan is 88mm in size with 40mm mounting holes distance & 0.5A in power like the original fan I have now have while the first one I linked to is 85mm with 42mm mounting holes distance and 0.4A in power. So even though a brushless fan is better than a non-brushless fan (maybe both types are brushless fans), then I think I have to use the 100% correct fan which is the one I posted here in this post.

Yes you need the correct volts/current, fan size dont make a huge difference when its less than 1 CM

Sure, but not the prettiest way of doing it in a case with glass windows all over it :)

Easy, Just put on an RGB fan. Nobody will know the difference.

Hehe. Not a fan of RGB. There is an RGB-fan with the case I have now. But gonna change it to something better soon.
