So a BIOS issue? I have the same one though the black version, no issues here.

This BIOS from my card could work as well as AFAIK their differences are only in the color of the cooler.

Hello man. I tried flashing the bios but was unsuccessful. I may have done it incorrectly. The info still shows the old bios version.

My other concern is, if it is a bios issue, at least, it should display the DOS screen at start-up, is it not so? I am thinking I will need to unplug the other gpu card and boot with the onboard VGA and try flashing the gtx 1080ti card bios again.

Tho the card is recognized at least so it's working at some level. Have you tried flashing it yet?

Yeah, yonk the 980Ti out and try flashing. Make sure you read the guide carefully.

Missed that, my bad. But like you said, OP should get that 980 Ti out if he/she is trying to flash the card.
