Gigabyte rolled out a new value micro-ATX case, the GZ-MK01. Measuring 180 x 360 x 435 (W x H x D) mm, it weighs 3.9 kg. It's made entirely of SECC and ABS plastic. Typical to micro-ATX cases, the GZ-MK01 features two 5.25", one exposed 3.5", and four internal 3.5" drive bays. There are four expansion slots. The motherboard tray is mostly open, letting you pass through cables and handle coolers with backplates. Front-panel is basic, consisting of two USB and audio ports. The only fan is the 80 mm rear exhaust, with provision for two side intakes, and one front intake. Gigabyte did not give out pricing, though one can expect it to be very affordable.

Ugh...
I've worked with chassis of this quality. Let's just say, when you will have to build a system in this chassis, it's a damn good idea to have a blood bag at hand.

I wish a company would put out cases like this for $15 shipped, all day erry day. That would be perfect for people who build little mATX rigs for family, friends, or whoever and don't want much of the budget to go to something that most people don't care about (the case).

This might make sense for companies that don't have to pay shipping. :p

Trust me, when you go microATX, you shouldn't go cheap on the case. Everything is so smaller that even one bad case design can ruin entire system build. The last case that i had (TT Lanbox Lite) was silent but ventilation was poor due to lack of fans and them being too small.
Have paid twice the price of it for Lian Li PC-V354 which is made out of aluminum, but is designed so much better. Ventilation is better than in most midi tower cases that i had before. Plus it looks really nice with brushed aluminum and blue LED fans in front that are not too strong which is a good thing since i'm no fan of LED fans.

There are also even smaller single 120mm intake fan models, i think PC-V352 or 351. I don't recommend those that have 60mm exhaust fans.

Put the PSU at the bottom of the case already!

I've been waiting for so long and It amazes me how case manufacturers havent done that to MATX cases yet..

Plenty of cheap cases in Taiwan, but nothing for $15, as that's a pisstake...

Plenty of cheap cases here in Indonesia, and it's including a PSU

The quality looks poor, and far below what Gigabyte normally produces (even with their crap customer support), I would say this is pass even cooler master does better at this level of case design.

Just stick with Cooler Master for smaller cases.

They have the design and price perfected.

Gigabyte's "high-end" cases are already badly thought out products. I wouldn't touch if my life depended on it.
