First off, why would you need chipset cooling? It's a fr**cking southbridge.
ShadowFold, i think the layout is pretty neat. Everything is where it should be.
But since it's a pre-production board (rev 0.3), the layout still can change.
And really small? What do you mean? It's a full-ATX board, can't get any bigger than this.

The 1st and 2nd pci-e slot is better though (for your taste, not tight like DFI's).
