GIGABYTE has prepared its Gaming OC variant of AMD's Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. The card features a PCB that is very similar to the reference model with 8+6 pin power connectors. However, it features an updated triple-fan cooler design in a 2.5 slot thick body and standard set of I/O, meaning that three DisplayPorts and one HDMI port are present. The card also has applied factory overclock, but exact details of frequency and card's availability are unknown so far. The AORUS model is yet to be released, nonetheless, we can hope to see it soon as well.

Solid, straightforward design with standard bracket width. Should be more than enough cooling for that card and it won't drive the price up much. Nice.

Apparently it'll be 420 USD. Which is not that bad for a triple fan setup

if it really is around 415-425 price range I might consider it. i was always a fan of the windforce fan design, they are quiet fans even at high speed. waiting for a review first though, i want to make sure it can OC to 2ghz 2.1 :D

can the stock 5700 XT be overclocked that high if you turn fan curve up to 80%? or do you still have to mess with power tables to reach that on stock? i don't want to mess with power tables, I want to just use msi afterburner sliders, etc

Reference 5700XT does 2GHz just with washer mod and fans on 100%. And that is without any OC, the card auto boosts simply on its own. So aib cards should have no issues. The Strix card does 2050 or smth like that out of the box.
As far as power play tables go, Igor's lab released an app for those, so you don't have to mess with the registry.

I just canceled my blower fan 5700 XT and ordered this, I honestly was not expecting it to be so cheap, only $20 for a 3 fan version... impressive. Nvidia 3 fans ask for like $80 more across their entire product line almost lol

Amazon says temporarily not available, but it still lets you buy it, and then I got an email stating delivery is estimated August 15th for it, so not to long of a wait at all hopefully.

yes I am aware a lot of people don't like Gigabyte, but I had 2 different 1080 ti's, and 1 980 ti with them, and had 0 issues. and the 3 fan cooler was quiet even at high fan speed. I'm confident it will be ok.

and warranty is 3 years for every manufacturer basically.

if temps don't impress me or it has issues, I can always refund it. that is my right as a buyer within 14 days of purchase.

Yea I also had multiple Gigabyte cards since the 7770 and so far no issues,my bro's 970 Giga Xtreme also runs fine so did my friend's 970 Windforce for years till he upgraded.

So far from the ones shown here on the site I like the Sapphire and the Giga model.
Pricing is also pretty good on the Giga model.

Wasn't even going there, i was on about none in stock and able to order still and get it in 5 days, was just a genuine good luck. Now you bring it up i have only owned a few parts by them over the last 19 years+ and they were totally crap but to be fair they were low end Giga parts.

How ever i do see a fair few complaints about Giga on these forums but you of a lot other company's too including XFX and having a bad experience with with warranty's even though time after time XFX have been out outstandingly good to me.

As for warranty not always 3 years it can be more or even less. For example XFX models have a lifetime warranty which seems not to be the case any more ( probably costing a lot ) now although some still have a 3+2 year warranty ( how ever the +2 is only for the fans ) how ever i have not talked or really looked in to what it be with this card.

I really want a Sapphire custom 5700 XT, because in my teenage years it was always Sapphire I bought, 5770, 6950, 7970, and AGP cards before that. However, not a fan of two fan design for this hot of a card, really want that 3 fan beast. :D

If sapphire can come out with a 3 fan design for around $430, then maybe I will give them my money. but from what i know they mostly focus on 2 fan models, and 3 fan ones are insanely expensive from any other company. so i think this is a fair deal.

Had GB 970 Gaming G1. Suffered from the notorious "fan issue". I wouldn't bother with another 3-fan solution from GB or any other company for that matter. 2-fans is plenty IMHO and if it's not, then AIO or something.

Mine arrives Friday direct from Amazon. Can't wait. ^^ It looks like the exact same cooler the 3 fan RTX 2080 SUPER uses too, but that costs $740, not $420... lol I was actually surprised to see a lot of benches show 2080 super only 10-12 fps faster at 1440p, like Sekiro Shadows Die Twice which is game I plan to play soon. 10 fps isn't worth $320 extra.

30 fps faster in Witcher 3... but I don't mind turning down a couple settings in that game.

PM in a couple weeks if you want a mini review of this card before you buy.
