Hi all,

I've updated my 5700 to a 5700XT, but read about some people having problem when flashing back to the 5700 (From XT), if their original bios wasn't a standard reference Bios.

Can anyone tell whether this bios is a reference design thus the reference 5700 XT bios will work fine?

Thanks

Did you save the original bios?

Can we get a gpu-z screenshot?

Fyi the same command you used to flash to the xt bios is the same to go back.

Open Command prompt with administrative rights.

Enter this command first

Amdvbflash.exe -unlockrom 0

Then enter this command

Amdvbflash -f -p 0 XXXX .rom

Note: XXXX is the name of the VBIOS file you downloaded. You can also change the downloaded file name to a simple name.

Is your card the reference blower type?

Thanks for the reply.
The card is a reference blower type and I attached the original bios to the first post. I flashed it already (successfully) using the GUI, but forgot to take a screenshot with the original bios.
I read on the guide that all reference blower types have the same bios, but I forgot to confirm it.

Device/Subsystem IDs change typically.

So is there any way of knowing now I've done the flash? I'm assuming that as it was successful, all is good, but verifying would be nice.
I don't really plan to flash back, and I guess it isn't worth the risk in case it messes up the card.

Gpuz or run benchmarks

Yeah it flashed and it is a reference card.
