+1, Forum activity should be a requirement...

Example- if a winner is selected with no activity and/or posts in ___ days then the next name is selected. It's an extra step but it may prove to be a useful step.

I'm still here as are a number of other entrants. Personally I hate when people change the rules of a contest. Remember that HD518 giveaway BumbleBee did last year? He changed the rules after it ended and gave one to Mussels, who didn't even enter and Easy Rhino, who didn't really really enter either. It was quite unethical in my opinion.

I've been trying to edit my post but my tablet is being stupid. I was going to add I do however find this to be an understandable change given the circumstances, even if I will get a little butthurt by it.

people go way way out of there way to make this stuff happen and its irksome when people disrespect that

personally I think there needs to be some standard practices implemented for giveaways including penalties for no-shows such as being excluded from the next give away if you are unreasonably tardy
I realise everybody has lives and shit happens but a quick message saying hey thanks ill get back to you when I get a chance would go miles

Those of us that give away regularly are only talking about adding a requirement on future giveaways.

Honestly, for the people that host a game giveaway, it's a fair bit of work to post it right, follow the thread, and then the stress at drawing time to find some other randomizer because the one you had used stopped working inexplicably, and then finally send said game to the winner. All while real life goes on around you.

Finally, it's an expense that takes something from our lives. When I do one, I make a decision to go without something.

@theonedub has now spent almost two weeks on this giveaway. So, knowing all that, don't you think we should be able to set the rules?

I don't believe they're are changing any rules or stipulations of this giveaway. I'm sure that @theonedub has a busy life as we all do and doesn't have time to keep re-drawing names. He merely stated that the game will be rolled into another contest; which seems fair, given he's already drawn multiple times.

The discussion of rules and stipulations is focused on future giveaways, which I might add, is at the discretion of the contest host.

I would like to withdraw my criticism. Considering the second game wasn't even part of the giveaway initially, I find nothing wrong with this. I had forgotten there was two. Carry on.

BumbleBee's giveaway was stupid though.

Thanks again for the giveaway. Hopefully I responded in time. I did a reformat/fresh install of Windows and didn't log into TPU until now. Got to have my alerts email me from now on
