Going for DDR3

Ok Guys, im gonna hop on the ddr3 wagon and i'd like to know a good cheap 2x2 DDR3 Kit, and a good 775 DDR3 Mobo to use with the Pentium DC E6300, im gonna OC the thing to the limits, on air cooling with a TRUE120 so the Ram must oc a lot, thanks guy's I really need help with this one, last time I got some OCZ flex that was ok, but didn't oc at all.

I brought mine to 3.6GHz on a Xiggy S1283 with DDR2-800 RAM. Lets see if you can beat that with DDR3

Thank's for the mobo, jejej i'd should have said something under 180$ and the Ram under 70$ or a 250$ Budget :toast:

Knowing your BIOS and good cooling is da key. If you broke my record, try beat tiggers 3.9GHz overclock

The E6300 is a monster oc'er. You will have fun with it :toast:

Yep Ive been told it's great chip, it's been a while since ive tried to oc over 4Ghz last time was on a pentium d 805 :laugh:

MMM... as for the MoBO im getting the Foxconn BlackOps its 110$ at newegg, nice for a x48, RAM still a concern have no idea what to get :confused:

my personal opinion would be to stick with an ASUS board . . . although, their high-end OCers are still rather pricy (P5E3 Premium - $270).

As to the DDR3, look for some good quality brands. I've had good success with OCZ (although others claim they don't OC well), G.Skill, Kingston and Mushkin are also solid brands . . .

I recommend choosing DDR3 rated over your stock FSB speeds - it'll give you more room for stability as you take your BUS speeds higher

hehe . . . are we wanting to compare latencies and cache amounts? DDR3 can move some insane amount of information per clock cycle :toast:
